A bavarian-style unfiltered dark wheat beer. The German ale yeast naturally creates hints of fruit and clove that blend deliciously with the richness of the darker malts. Culminating flavors and aromas reminiscent of chocolate banana bread with a low balancing bitterness.

Taster at brewery. This could have passed muster as a schwarzbier or dunkel. Dunkelweizen? Hardly. Its way to bitter, and little evidence of any weizen notes. Thin too.
