Canned 11/26/23.
Dark chestnut brown, with one finger of light tan head.
Smell is roasted nuts, cola, wet wood, wet earth, a little char, and malted milk ball that dissipates with the head.
Taste is nuts (mostly walnut) , slight woodiness, cola, char, cocoa, and roasty malt. Maybe some very light frutiness. Light bitterness.
As it warms, a hint of cinnamon shows up.
Feel is light, briefly watery, finishing with light, very, very fine carbonation tingle. Slight drying at the end. A bit astringent at the back of the throat at finish and beyond.
Overall , easy-drinking, and satisfying. Could use a little more body , but fine as-is. I don't specifically get any honey or pumpkin, but guessing the slight fruitiness is that. Probably better that way, than if the additions were more noticeable.
