Opaque orangey-gold, with 1/2 finger of ivory head. Looks like apricot nectar, with a head. Leaves a few spots of lacing.
Smell is mostly apricot , like apricot pastry filling, though less sweet. Slight bits of pineapple, mango, and fresh biscuity malt, when swirled.
Taste is mostly orange rind, with some peach and fresh orange coming in later. Moderate bitterness. Very slight smokiness, for a brief instant. *
Feel is medium, and juicy, with moderate, very fine carbonation tingle .
Overall, pretty good.
* I asked for two other beers (they can to order), including a porter. The porter kicked in the middle , so I suggested just filling the remaining 2 cans with this beer, to save time. The beertender poured the partial can into a glass for me, and continued. Well....this kicked too :PPP , in the middle of the dinner rush, so the can may not have been rinsed 100%, & guessing that's where the smokiness is coming from. A happy accident as it turns out, because that works really well with the fruit flavors. :)
