They're calling this a Kentucky Common. No such category on BA, so under California Common.
From a can filled about two weeks ago. It's been chilled ever since .
Clear medium amber, with about on finger of tan head.
Smell is iced tea, a little toffee, slight brown bread, and slight herbal aroma.
Taste is toasted brown bread, with hints of iced tea and the herbal element present in the aroma. On the dry side, with some light bitterness at finish.
Feel is light-side of medium, fairly smooth, with very, very fine, sharp carbonation bite coming in late. Dry finish and aftertaste.
Overall , enjoyable, well-balanced, and easy-drinking. Something nice , that doesn't need thinking about (except here ;) ) . Similar to Anchor Steam, but fresher, drier, and slightly more complex. Nicely done! :)
