This beautiful Pilsner style beer is a bright pale straw color with a light white head. Aromas of fresh baked bread, lemon, black pepper, and fresh cut grass. Crisp and thirst quenching with a medium to light body and moderate carbonation. Flavors of cracker and artisan bread crust are balanced by soft spicy, floral, and grassy notes. Bittered with Hallertau Magnum. Hersbruker and Czech Saaz for aroma and flavor hops. Floor Malted Bohemian Pilsner malt is backed up by a touch of Stone Path Malt Munich and Signature Foam malts. Fermented with Omega Pilsner II. Lagered over a month in our horizontal lager tank named The Iron Lung. An Automaton is a robot.

Delicious Pilsner. A little sweet for the style.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance - The beer pours a clear golden color with a small head of white foam. The head fades fast leaving a decent amount of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell - The aroma is strong of a grainy and bready smell mixed with some caramel sweetness and a touch of lemon. Along with these comes some notes of a grassy smell as well as a bit of hay and spice.
Taste - The taste begins with the grain and bread that were in the nose, along with a moderately sweet base consisting of caramel and a bit of toffee. There is a light pepper taste and some herb and lemon in there as well. These latter very light flavors seem to fade as the taste advances on the tongue, leaving one with a moderately sweet for the style, but balanced taste at the end.
Mouthfeel - The body of the is of medium thickness and chewiness with a moderate carbonation level. Both fitting for the style making it rather easy drinking.
Overall - A pretty decent pils. Nothing super special, but still quite easy drinking and rather flavorful.
