Golden Franconian blonde, unfiltered, with hints of freshly cut hay, typical straw and grass aromas, with delicate and sweet notes of bread crust provided by the malt from an artisanal malt house near Bamberg. Smooth and creamy palate, with subtle floral flavors and hints of vanilla. Very balanced beer with a semi-dry finish, leaving a rounded drinking sensation.

Malcantone "Dragonfly"
€5 / .5 litre on tap @ Monterutto Beer Shop, Modena, IT on 24 November 2025
Look: A hazy golden body (it's unfiltered) is capped by a finger's width of white foam that holds well and leaves some nice lacing behind.
Smell: Fresh, clean - grainy and grassy.
Taste: As the aroma suggests but fuller. It's grainy, bready, grassy, just a touch floral, and with the most subtle hint of apple-like fruitiness possible. A moderate bitterness of around 20 IBUs balances it nicely and brings it to a mainly dry conclusion with just a touch of grassiness left lingering.
Feel: Medium bodied and crisp.
Overall: A really well-done and nicely balanced helles.
