Named after the annual spring migration up the Mystic River and into Mill Brook, this beer hits the spot when the days are lengthening and the weather starts to warm up. Traditionally hazy, we craft our hefeweizen to achieve clove and banana flavors without tilting the scales (get it? scales!) towards one or the other. Check out the Mystic River Watershed Association to learn more and even count some fish!

Cloudy straw colored brew. Minor head for the style.
Good banana and clove aroma.
Appropriately highly carbonated with a neutral body. Crisp and refreshing. Plenty of banana and clove in the taste but it isn't overly wheaty. Fast finish with a very short aftertaste.
