A British-style pub ale that is low in alcohol but big on flavor. Toasty malt plays nicely with fuggles hops to transport your taste buds all the way to Manchester (UK, not NH) atop a dense head of smooth creamy foam. We developed this recipe for our friend Stuart, who wanted a beer that reminds him of home. But if you want the complete pub experience, you’ll have to bring your own mushy peas.

How often do you find a good, local English style bitter. I really like this beer because it is so subtle. You have the biscuit-y slightly dry, cracked British malts, very light hops, and a refreshing smooth finish. I appreciate having a low ABV beer that has plenty of taste. Granted, this is pretty light bodied fare but its good, has a nice malt profile, falls nicely into the English pub style bitter category, and is locally available. Spy PA is the Arlington Brewery's flagship but this one is my second favorite coming out of that brewery.
