Terraform your taste buds with bold flavors of roasted toffee and malted caramel. A late addition of Noble hops lends subtle floral "Earth"-y undertones to this dry red ale. Pours a dark amber with a smooth robust body.

The Terraformer has a very thick, beige head and a murky, rust-red appearance, with minimal lacing. The aroma is of bread crust and tea leaves. It has a similar flavor, with strong, but not harsh, bitterness. The Terraformer has a medium body, a creamy mouthfeel, and a dry finish.

Another decent offering from Starbase....
Enjoyed this one as it was richly flavored, medium-bodied, and was easy drinking on a hot Friday, FL evening...

From a can. Reddish brown color with a finger of foamy light brown head. Caramel malt and pepper aroma. Medium body with strong carbonation. Floral and caramel malt flavors. Decent

Deep mahogany color, with a good head of foam atop it. Aroma is very faint, with hardly any hops or malt to be scented. Flavor is solidly dependent on the malt, though there's not much there in terms of specialty malts, that I can taste. Just sweet, bready malt. Good creamy body, not too heavy. Not terrible I guess, but this feels pretty generic, like any generic 1990s brewery or brewpub would offer when they wanted to put a more malty beer out.

I'm a big fan of this style, and I was not disappointed on this one.
Good body, very drinkable. The hops were well chosen and tasty. Malt backbone is solid.
Not overly complex, but meets the style expectations just fine. Glad I have five more.
