German malts and Noble hops balance each other perfectly in this rich and bready amber lager. With a full-body and a slight hint of roasty sweetness, this brew is a timeless ode to the dusty sands of Mars that we one day hope to occupy.

Hazy copper with a full off white head.
Grassy notes along with some sweet breadiness.
Very sweet, caramel malts, a little bitterness. I don’t detect any Munich malt profile that I expected from something I anticipated was a Marzen style lager. I guess it’s ok, I definitely don’t like the overly sweet aspect.
Overall, this is disappointing, I enjoy Marzen beers, probably, better than any other style. There are plenty of better domestic examples of this style. I’ll definitely pass on this in the future.

12 oz can Poured on a Pint Glass:
LOOK: Tan color with a great head approximately 2in stood over 5 minutes before dissolving. Very impressed.
SMELL: Malty with hint of maple
TASTE: Malty with a hints of brown sugar
FEEL: Good carbonation maintains a very smooth feeling not filling but a little weak aftertaste
OVERALL: First time trying it good beer very impressed with the beer head just needs a better ending for a great märzen.

Great little lager from this brewer...
Being that it's Oktoberfest time, I'm looking for anything that's a Festbier, marzen, or these red lagers - the latter being something that on this one is a German lager. Enjoyed this one quite a bit, definitely glad I still have a few more to go through.

From a can. Amber color with two fingers of foamy off-white head. Toasted malt and noble hop aroma. Medium body with good carbonation. Caramel malt with a dry earthy note and a peppery hop finish. Good

Dark gold pour, finger if off white foam head. Nose is roasted malt. Taste is light toffee, medium to light kilned malt, wood and floral notes. Finish is malty sweetness.

"German style lager" the can says. An odd designation. It's dark, but not black, and it's very hazy. From the name I guess they're aiming for a Marzen. Modest head atop it. Aroma is lightly malty, very faint. Taste is sweet, a tad syrupy and bready. No hop flavor detectable. Light caramel. Does have a good body and mouthfeel, the only real positive I can pick out of it. So far, this brewery's offers are distinctly run of the mill.
