From the bottle, it pours an ever so slightly hazy yellow-gold color with a large white head that slowly diminishes and leaves lacing. In the nose, it is lightly fragrant, with a touch of malt and maybe some spice. In the mouth, it is slightly bitter, with a malt base. odd. Improved by adding a bit of lemon to it in the German Kristall Weizen style.

Included in the 2021 Aldi Beer Advent Calendar.

Appearance: Lightly hazy medium golden on color, with a large, dense and persistent cloudtop head. Fat bubbles cling to the glass walls, with a moderate number drifting lazily to the surface. The lacing is Belgian-like and quite pronounced.

Aroma: Mild floral hop aroma, wheat malt, and some very faint spices, with no evident coriander or orange rind. There is a good amount of yeast aroma, though.

Taste: Solid bread malt at the open, with a moderate yeast presence. Spices are lacking, with no coriander or orange rind to be found. Pleasant floral hops present throughout. Finishes with mildly sweet wheat malt and a flourish of herbal and floral hops.

Mouth feel: Smooth and full, quite soft, very pleasing for a beer of this style and ABV.

Drinkability/notes: Not outstanding, but certainly pleasant and drinkable. Beer number five in the 2021 Aldi Beer Advent calendar.

Presentation: Packaged in a standard twelve-ounce brown glass long-neck bottle with a pry-off crown, served a La Fin du Monde tulip.

Poured from bottle into tulip, 1/2 finger cream colored head, recedes quickly, good retention. Hazy bright golden in the glass. Slight floral notes on the nose, some underlying spice, can't pin it. Taste is sweet malt, followed up by a Belgian-ish esters, there is a slight dulled citrus twang going on, but somewhat muted. Not a bad drinker, but there are better ones out there in this price range.

Fair all around, not so bad as to be poor. But this bears almost no resemblance to a wheat beer, much less a wit. SLIGHT coriander in the aroma. Crystal clear liquid with very little head retention. Flavor is macro lager mixed with Blue Moon. Refreshing, but not great.

330 ml bottle, not dated but likely fresh. Nonetheless, this bottle lacks proper carbonation resulting in almost no head and a flat mouthfeel. The brew is quite mild trading despite a moderately strong and relatively attractive aroma.
