From the bottle, it pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a modest white head - it still manages to leave a bit of lacing. The nose gets a dose of hops as well as a touch of malt. The mouth gets a light bitterness, followed by malt - aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Appearance: Modestly hazy golden yellow body is crowned by a dense, thick and very persistent white head, perhaps two inches in all. Sticky, patchy lacing adorns the glass wall. Fat bubbles adorn the glass wall, and fine streams of bubles drift lazily to the surface.
Aroma: Rich with bready malts and juicy herbal hops.
Taste: Opens with leafy and herbal hops, above a backbone of solid and clean malt. As the taste progresses, the hops present a medicinal note, with the bitterness lingering on well past the close.
Mouth feel: Rather full and soft, excellent for the style.
Drinkability/notes: A rather hop-forward example of the style, but very pleasant and drinkable. Beer number two in the Aldi 2021 Beer Advent Calendar.
Presentation: Packaged in a standard brown twelve-ounce long neck bottle with a pop-off crown, served in a La Fin du Monde tulip.
