Copenhagen 17/4 2023. 44 cl can from Beershoppen web-shop. Can made out to look like the cardboard sleeve for a VHS tape.
Pours opaque milky, slightly dirty yellow with a small white head. Stable. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and fermented odor of ripe stone fruits mingling with a sharp scent of citrus fruit. Mango and peach. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. A bit searing. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry with boozy touch.
A potent visit at the video store.
