Copenhagen 11/2 2023. 44 cl can from Craft Makers Collective web-shop. Steel can with an old geezer hugging Death personified by a skeleton.
Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a huge white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as 4 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with sweet exotic fruit. Citric notes. Sweet pale malts, mango and blood orange. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Fine, entirely pleasant DIPA. Potent but not boozy.
