Copenhagen 6/2 2023. 44 cl can from Craft Makers Collective web-shop. Black can decorated with metal knobs.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer . No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sugary pastry-like odor mingling with a salty touch. Brown sugar, toffee, sweet heavy chocolate cake, honey. Light touch of salty licorice.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, sticky, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by an almost as strong bitterness with a salty tang. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Pastry sweet boozer with a salty touch.
