Løkken 6/7 2023. 44 cl can from Meny, Industrivej, Løkken. Newspaper cartoon-like can design with a desperate fellow getting his teeth punched out.
Pours opaque hazy yellow with a small white head. Stable. Settles as thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of ripe Stone fruits mingling with citrus fruits and alcohol. A Screwdriver. Peach and mango. Lemon and grapefruit.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily. A bit viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet and a bit boozy undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Pretty potent DIPA which manages to keep its impressive ABV under wraps.
