A modern West Coast IPA, with a malt composition kept quite simple consisting of lager malt and leftover bread to let the hops do their thing. The hops chosen are a combination of the classic Citra and two New Zealand super hops: Nelson Sauvin and Nectaron. These hops give a dominant and delicious tropical fruit character, in contrast to the more old-fashioned West Coast IPAs, which have pronounced pine notes. “Resurrection Loop” is relatively dry, which makes it dangerously drinkable and crisp. The whole experience is rounded off with a fresh and bitter hop bite.
“Resurrection Loop” is a beer brewed in collaboration with the organic brewery BRØL. The name celebrates the rebirth and re-entry of all things into the cosmos.

Frederiksberg 4/6 2024. 40 cl from tap at Tap 21, H. C. Ørstedsvej, Frb. F.
Pours slightly unclear yellow with a small white head. Stable. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a odor of sweer Stone fruit soon overpowered by zestyband fresh citrus fruit. Peach and pineapple. Clementine, lemon and lime. Touch of pine.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture. A bit fizzy.
Flavor is moderatrly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Zesty nose - but a bit thin.
