The Elmhurst Krafted has been open for about a month and seems to be hitting their stride.
Located in the old Red Arrow space, they have removed the wall of taps, added a bar and more seating. It is a modern and clean design. The only thing I didn't like was the "corral" that sounds some of the tables. The top of the corral is wide enough to set drinks on and there are bar stools for the corral. The issue for me is that if you are seated at the corral, you are seated above and looking down at nearby folks at regular bar tables, just kind of a funky set-up. Grab a high top or a table in the other part of the bar and this wont be an issue.
Service was good with our waiter coming by several times to check on beer, food, etc.
They have a solid and rotating craft beer list, macros in bottles, wine and a full bar. The food is really good. I tried both the burgers and the pizza and would return for either.
Lots of young families with kids early in the evening. If you want to avoid that, come a bit later.
I really enjoyed my visit here and will have no issue returning as it a good spot that has plenty of other options nearby (Beer Head, Pints, Beer on the Wall, Tannins, etc.)
