Clear golden amber brew with plenty of foam in the Chimay chalice. Plentiful spritz on the tongue with a malty body. Aroma of cereal and straw with a resiny note. Taste of malt with a touch of sweetness, and some dark berry flavors. Moderate bitter aftertaste.
This is really quite drinkable. I've had to go back to the refrigerator a couple to times to top off the glass so I can get around to writing a review. From the 32 oz crowler can purchased at the Laguna Beach tasting room. Brewed by LBBC in Rancho Santa Marguerita.
