Boise's newest brewery. Located smack dab between Powderhaus and Clairvoyant. Light industrial, strip mall setting. Small space carved out for seating, bar and tables, small patio. Small brew system. Great service, interesting taps.

brand new spot on chinden, which has become brewery row, good place to spend a saturday bopping around. modest digs here, tucked in one of these business plazas, back corner hard to even see from the road, lots of windows in here but feels sort of tossed together in terms of furniture and decor, a coat of paint here, a good will couch over there, and hang up the open sign. still, cozy and relaxed place, even when busy, looks like they are killing it in the early going, already out of a couple of beers when we were in. looks like they are building a patio out back which will open things up, they had a food truck back there too, and a couple of different seating areas. the brewery is tiny, just a couple of barrel system, a few fermenters, they are going to be real hard at working keeping up if they stay this busy! i love the modest setup though, glorified homebrew, doing it for the love of the process which you have to respect! i cant say im wild about the name, sounds like a gimmick, and arent there already a million beard names for breweries and beers? seems uncreative, but i have to confess, the dude has a most excellent brown beard, im sure he put some energy in on that for the opening, immaculate beard work, mad props! they had five beers on when we were in, i liked all of them but the dunkelweizen, which needs a lot of work, but i was in love with the weissbier believe it or not, and the blonde stout with coffee and vanilla and bourbon oak was fire too, creative and rather polished. nice hop profile on the big ipa too, and i think overall the beer quality is already ahead of the curve for how new they are, and shows a ton of promise. the service was friendly, but man, they were having some real issues getting beers out. even with three or four people back there, there was about a 20 to 30 minute wait for beers, a really bad look. problems with their gas and things pouring foamy slowed them down, but this was pretty unacceptable in a little place like this, and i felt bad for them right away because of it, seriously it took forever. cant hold it against them though, everyone gets a grace period, and they seemed to own it and do their best, i appreciate them getting the pours right rather than just blasting out lousy pours, hoping this has already improved. the buzz was real in here, and for a space so sort of minimal and under the radar during its development, they seem like they are off to a great start. excited to have them, i expect things to go extremely well. they are going to wish they bought some bigger fermenters before long...
