Rebel Sailor Brewing Company

I visited with my brother-in-law on Black Friday. They had live music (a solo guitar/singer act) and it was fairly loud but not overly so. It was almost completely full but we were able to get a couple of seats. Service was prompt and friendly. The beer list is varied and has something for everyone. 3 of the 4 beers I tried were solid, while the fourth was borderline undrinkable. We didn't try the food but it looked and smelled good. I might visit again but it's not my top pick in the area (that would be Frequentem).

Nice little spot. About 8 seats at the bar and maybe 10 tables. Large outside seating area. i think there were 10 beers and a couple of ciders on tap, and some mixed drinks available. The beers were solid, but likely to improve over time. Food menu was BBQ (smoked pork and chicken mostly), and I had the BBQuban sandwich. Grilled pepperoni, hot ham, pulled pork, pepperjack cheese, and jalapenos, and it was one of the best things I've eaten in a while Highly recommended.

Staff was friendly and efficient, and the clientele seemed to be all locals/regulars. Not a destination brewery, but worthy of a stop when in the area. Combine with a visit to Reinvention Brewing a couple miles up Rt 21 in Manchester, just off exit 43 of the NYS Thruway.
