Interesting quince taste, with a sweet touch, like caramel.
Better than it would be expected from a lager.

Clear dark amber color with beige head. Aroma has intense dark bread notes, even a bit burned crust. Taste follows exactly, bread crust, roasted malt and a bit of caramel. Body is on the light side with crisp carbonation. This beer takes the "liquid bread" saying really serious.

A: Really caught the eye, mahogany, tanned head, decent amount of lacing

S: Roasted malt, dark chocolate.

T: Generally followed the nose, also had notes of strawberry chewing gum,
chocolate really came through at the finish.

M: Thin body, low carbonation, smooth enough.

O: I had to think of an Altfränkisch type dark unfiltered beer, looked
so good but didn’t quite deliver.
