Found in a kiosk in the eastern part of Moscow. Russian standard brown bottle with a gold and white label featuring a polar bear peering out from above a honeycomb filled with barley. The ingredients include "aroma of 'honey'". OK. Best before 12/18/06, I opened it on 5/28/06.
Pours a clear very bubbly gold under a 1/2 finger off-white head that fades quickly to collar, leaving no lace. There's a mild honey scent, although Globetrotterette thought it was more like urine. The mouth is fairly well carbonated and somewhat sticky, fitting the honey image. A sweet honey taste complement the grainy malt. I'm still waiting for some hops to emerge. The honey lingers throughout, leaving a sweet aftetaste. It's not bad, for what it is.
