It's baaack and crispier than ever. Fermented with Escarpment Labs KRISPY Kveik yeast strain this beer is a lager in disguise. This particular strain of yeast was selected for its squeaky clean and neutral fermentation profile (similar to that of a lager yeast). Clocking in at a very dignified 3.1% abv this is an all day crushathon bevragio that is going to disappear faster than you can say Tolmiebingo!

500ml bottle served in a Jack's Abby pint glass.
A - White foam settles to a thick cap and generous lacing. Slightly hazed, straw blonde body with plenty of visible carbonation. Yellow fizzy beer, but with good retention.
S - Nice aroma of doughy cereal grains, floral and grassy hops, and a kiss of citrus. Lots of punch to this, although it does fall on the high end of the ABV scale for 'light' lagers.
T - Unfortunately, the taste is more evocative of macro lagers. More flavor punch than a typical 'lite' beer, but that same sweet cereal grain, sweet corn, and buttered bread that I get from other beers of this style. It's a bit better in that it doesn't get cloying, but it's not a flavor I really love either.
M - Active carbonation, medium body, surprisingly chewy and hefty for the style, fairly clean, crisp finish. No perceptible alcohol.
D - I wish it tasted like the aroma. Nothing really wrong with this brew; this will surely please lovers of Ontario lagers and perhaps function as a bridge beer. Just not a beer I would order again any time soon, as every other Burdock offering I've had is superior. Still, had no problems crushing 500ml.
