Purchased at the brewery for $5.00. 500ml bottle served at 4deg C in a draught glass
A- Opens well and pours a 1" high white head that films out withing 3-4mins or so. Medium gold colour and unfiltered
S- Nice plump citrus notes. More yeast then hops
T- Weird low hop brew. Has a bitterness to it and yeastiness that is unusual for an IPA. Light bodied. Not a lot here for an IPA at this level.
M- Creamy going down then it dries right out
O- Nice brew but not my style. Enjoyable but will not buy again.
Food Pairing
This unusual brew went well with....... Roasted turkey with all the fixin's
Enjoy

This one tasted off to me to the point that I wondered if I had been served the wrong beer. There was some bright citrus notes but there was also a huge brett-like presence and next to no IPA-like bitterness.

Another treat courtesy of peensteen. Pours a clear golden colour, thin layer of head with some retention and sporadic lacing. Nose has hints of sweet cedar and burnt caramel. Flavour is more bitter than the nose implies with a solid dose of citrus hops and a lingering citrus rind bitterness. Solid caramel malt backbone with hints of buttered toffee. Medium bodied, smooth and surprisingly dry. A solid IPA from an up and coming brewery with loads of potential. Definitely a brewery I will look forward to trying more of.

500ml bottle from brewery enjoyed on day of bottling.
Cloudy gold with minimal head. Citrus and stone fruit aromas. Citrus, resiny flavours. A little more carbonation than I usually enjoy. Enjoyable, but overall a little different than expected.
