Bottle: Poured a bright yellow color ale with a giant off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry Bretty notes with some light lime notes is quite nice. Taste is a mix of dry Brett notes with some subtle lime juice notes, some tart notes with light funky yeast notes also discernable. Body is about average for style with great carbonation. Lime juice was not as apparent as I was expecting but good beer nonetheless.

Chilled 750ml bottle. Thanks to Coronaeus for this one!
Pours cloudy pale yellow with a good head.
The aroma is bretty with a delicate smell of the lime. Quite pleasing.
Taste is much the same. Slightly tart with obvious Brett influence. The lime is present yet not cheap, concentrated or overdone. Medium body with light to moderate carbonation.Very refreshing on a hot long weekend.
I've been holding this one for a while to have as a special treat. Timing couldn't have been better as friend did a surprise drop in that turned into dinner so I was able to share this well brewed beer with friends. They enjoyed it very much.
Definitely recommended.

750ml bottle from brewery.
Pale and slightly murky gold with a big but quickly dissipating head. Funky aroma with a sweet lime and lemon character. Crisp, slightly tart with notes of lime zest. Moderate carbonation. Agree with previous reviewer that this is the best beer from burdock that i have to date. Really very good.

Hazed pale golden colour, 2 fingers of white head and some lace. Smell is funky and fruity, lemon-lime gatorade, citrus fruit and brett, lightly acidic notes come off as well, I would even go as far to say that the nose here conjures memories of Brother Soigné or Arthur to varying degrees. Taste starts out tart and fruity, light acidity, lemon lime, funky with an ever-present Brett that never becomes overwhelming. Light carbonation, light crackling mouthfeel and a bit thin, bringing to mind the mouthfeel of Table Dorothy. Absolutely solid stuff here, easily the best brew from these guys to date, I was quite impressed by this as you could tell since I referenced 3 HF brews in this review. This and Barn Owl #3 came out the same day and for me this was the winner (though not by much), worth seeking out.
