Bottle from the brewery. Served in my Kuhnhenn tulip.
A - Two fingers of white foam linger for quite a while; excellent retention with plenty of splotchy lacing. Lightly hazed pale straw body.
S - Very hoppy, lots of Mosaic punch with notes of blueberry and passion fruit; heavier on the tropical side of things. Nice complimentary sugary malt backdrop. Quite nice, with the appropriate balance for the style.
T - The flavor is similar, but not quite as good. There's a yeasty character in the finish and surprisingly high bitterness for a pale ale. A tad more lemony here, with less of the tropical goodness of the nose. Finally; Toronto has caught up the the American hop aesthetic.
M - Medium body, a touch grainy in texture. Pleasant medium carbonation, with lingering oiliness.
D - This is a really nice pale ale; my favorite from Burdock so far. Surprised by the low reviews as this delivers exactly as promised - a pale ale heavy on Mosaic and Simcoe hops with a punchy aroma and bitterness. I went back to buy more bottles of this one.

Bottle: Poured a bright pale yellow color ale with a nice large pure white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of delicate citrusy hops notes with some grassy floral undertones. Taste is also a good mix of grassy notes with some citrusy hops notes is pretty nice. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nice but hops flavours could have been even more pronounced.

500ml bottle from Bottle Shop.
Dull pale yellow with minimal head. Lemon aromas dominate. Gentle tropical fruit flavours. Very thin with a quick finish.
