500ml bottle.
Deep black with a thick, billowing and slowly dissipating head. Roasted grain, dark chocolate nose. Caramel, chocolate, walnut. Medium body, but could be a little thicker. Light and enjoyable.

Bottle from the brewery. Served in my Jack's Abby shaker pint.
A - Tan foam lingers, formed a finger-thick cap. Dark brown body with a hint of translucency at the fringes. Not much lacing is left behind.
S - Roasty and nutty, with notes of smoke and char. Some light baker's chocolate sweetness and vanilla in the periphery. Perhaps a touch of coffee-esque acidity when it warms up.
T - Taste is a bit sweeter, with baker's chocolate and nuts mid-palate. A touch of caramel and some dry, roastiness and minerality in the finish. Nothing mind-blowing, but hits all the checkboxes for the styles.
M - A bit fizzy and harsh, carbonation-wise. Medium body, dry and toasty texture. I know it's only 4.5%, but it's still a bit light for a stout in my book.
D - It's a classic American Stout; dry and roasty, but a bit sweeter than an Irish stout. Carbonation is a but rough, but otherwise it is pretty nice. Happily drank a bottle on a Saturday night on the patio. Quick drinkable.
