hazed very light pale blonde colour, ring of white head, no lace. Smell is lightly acidic, lemon and and a light plum flesh, plum sits more in the periphery but adds a nice layer to this in its own right. Taste has a bit more plum to it, tart, lemon like acidity, fruity and fairly dry. Medium carbonation, dry and spritz, light medium body. Solid but not earth shattering, sits in the middle of the pack of Burdock fruited berliners.

Bottle: Poured alight blonde color ale with a nice large pure white foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light plum notes with discreet residual sugar notes and some tart notes are also perceptible. Taste is a refreshing mix of light plum notes with some discreet residual sugar notes and some tart notes. Body is about average with great carbonation. Solid beer with nice refreshing features.

Bottle from the brewery. Served in a Bellwoods snifter.
A - White foam settles to a near-complete cap, collar, and specks of lace. Hazy peach juice body.
S - Wheat-heavy, with light lactic notes. Not a lot of plum in the aroma; maybe some nebulous sweetness and tart plum skin, but I don't think I would even guess this was fruited if sampled blind.
T - The flavor is definitely more plum-heavy, with the mixture of the vegetal plum skin and sweet flesh. Tart, mildly sour finish, fairly neutral wheat beer base. Lots of flavor for 3.4%. Aftertaste is a bit mineral-y.
M - Crisp, medium-light body, pleasantly soft carbonation. Easy to drink, with no perceptible alcohol. Sufficient heft and depth to the texture on the palate. Quite nice in this regard.
D - I've enjoyed some of Burdock's Berliners a bit more than this one, but it's a pretty crushable, reasonably price beer. Plums on their own seem to be a bit understated; perhaps add some pluots or berries?
