500ml bottle purchased at the shop today. Website description says: "I know we say this every time, but this one is the juiciest/most aromatic to date." Served chilled in a nonic pint.

Nice golden pale ale colour. A little hazy. Persistent half-inch head.

Intense tropical fruit aromas: green mango, ripe papaya and guava.

More super-intense fruit along with some mouth-puckering bitterness up front. I'm picking up some intense apricot in addition to the tropical fruit from the nose. I guess that's the Summer hops. Nice.

Creamy. Well carbonated.

I enjoy each of these Burdock IPAs more than the last. I just got back from New York where I was drinking Bell's, Racer 5, Lagunitas, Dogfish Head, some really beautiful East Coast style IPAS comparable to this one from Threes in Brooklyn, etc. and I feel confident saying this is quickly becoming world-class stuff. Keep 'em coming.

Purchased at the brewery for $6.00 500ml bottle served at 10deg C in a draught glass

A- Opens well and pours a tiny head that films out within a minute or two. Darker gold colour and unfiltered

S- Nice hops and malt here.

T- Nice hops. Closer to an APA than IPA. Lots of malt. Has good hops don't get me wrong but not a lot and there is little dry hopping. Nice blend but needs refinement a touch and less C hops and more fruity blends of hops instead. Hope they keep that slight lemon hint though.

M- Low carbonation. A bit too low. Almost flat in 5mins

O- Nice brew. Like the forward flavor IPA's and this is one albeit a touch mellow. Worth trying once for sure

Food Pairing

This nice little brew went well with...... Chicken Biryani. The spices battle it up with this brew and you win!

Enjoy
