On tap at the source. Brett funk big in the aroma. Lace sheet. Spicy and yeasty. Quaffable summer ale albeit with alcohol in finish, on the tongue.on the point brett ale.

I honestly don't know how to classify this one style-wise. I fell back on APA because someone decided their Brett Golden Ale fit that category but it could plausibly be labelled a Belgian IPA, a Wild Ale, or a Saison. 500ml bottle from the bottleshop. Served lightly chilled in a nonic pint.
Pours a hazy light yellow. Champagne-like carbonation. Not much head but copious lacing.
Aroma is a heady mix of barnyard, spicy yeast esters, and tropical hops. Awesome.
Taste is definitely on the slightly sour and refreshing side of things, like a saison. Not nearly as hop-forward as I'd expected from the description. Barnyard funk is quite restrained.
Light and effervescent mouthfeel. There's a pleasant lingering spicy/funky aftertaste.
This is a nicely crafted beer but it's quite a bit less funky and hop-forward than I'd expected. Fits nicely in Burdock's rotation. From the description I'd hoped it would stick out a bit more.
