500ml bottle from the bottleshop.
Very light blonde colour. Some haze. Very little head or lacing.
Complex fruity hop aromas. Lots of subtle apricot and melon.
Subtle fruit flavours backed up with a resinous, bitter finish. Extremely light malt backbone.
Light body. Very little carbonation.
I love trying each of these Burdock IPAs as they come out. This one showcases some new (to me) hop varieties with distinctive profiles. It seems like an experiment. As such, it's a bit light on the malt backbone and sort of flighty and unbalanced.
