Its body is peachy gold with a bit of haze. CO2 is visible and active, fueling the two inches of dense, fluffy white head on top. It retains well and leaves sheets of lace behind.
Its fruitiness is bold but unlike the tropical IPA's I've recently come accustomed to. I get more sweet pear and watermelon than anything else. There's a bit of ripe pineapple, and a bit of peach as well. It's got a candied tone. There's also some resin that's green, lively, and sweet. It's nice and it's unique.
Candied melon comes in beside a fleshed out resinous character. Slightly sticky and leaning towards pine but keeps its lively, and fresh quality. The more I think of it, the more watermelon comes to mind. It's peachy on the edges. The bitterness is rounded and refined.
There's a nice weight to its body. It's filled out with no sign of alcohol. It finishes semi-dry with a clean level of carbonation.
A straight shooting, clean, fruit forward American IPA. The bitterness is kept in check from beginning to end. It's dangerously drinkable at 7.1%.
