Pours an unexpected pink gold, like fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, hazy; forms a smallish, off-white airy head with little retention.
Big grapefruit aroma, and tropical notes of passion fruit. Fresh and exotic. Balanced sweet and tart.
Following an interesting look and scent, the flavour falls a bit flat. The bitterness is pithy, short on promised fruitiness and vibrancy. There is a taste of grapefruit zest, but it's overshadowed. Minimal malt presence, watery flavour. Medium body and carbonation. Feel is effervescent and crisp.
Nice from afar, but a let down when it hits your lips with a bland flavour.
