PINOT FRESCO is a magic-fermentation barrel aged saison reposed on an inordinate quantity of pinot noir skins from Pearl Morissette (thank you @pearlmorissette team / @valbelisle for personally shovelling these ones). Because of the high ratio of skins:beer the yield on this batch was very small and only ~700 bottles were produced. The pinot noir is the star of this beer - classic notes of candied strawberry and tart cherry, lands in the “hard to believe there’s no actual wine in this” category. At an (unexpected) 8.3% abv and (expected) super high carbonation (you’re gonna want to pop & pour this one) - this beer is magic.
