Dark brown body, with glimmers of ruby (which I might be imagining); struggles to form a frothy, big-bubbled head that has very low retention.
Sharp, tart fruitiness with a rich caramel malt background, at first things bring to mind a flanders red, sophisticated fruity notes of cherry and raspberry, whispers of chocolate.
The taste is a prominent blend of sour and dark cherries, again with a the dark roast malt notes of a stout backing things up, lightly bitter, more acidic then rich; medium carbonation, medium body; the feel is sticky, like a jam.
Feels like it hasn't figured out what it wants to be, the flavours are too contradictory.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of chocolate notes with some strong cherry notes and light vinous notes are also perceptible. Taste is a mix of chocolate and cherry with some vinous notes with some oak presence also detectable. Body is average with good carbonation. Interesting mix of cherry and chocolate but not sure it is something I would have on a regular basis.
