This is an excellent dark lager. Beautiful pour from tap into a snifter. Clear dark brown with an excellent fluffy beige head and great curtain lacing. Dark chocolate, earthy smell and taste. Almost like porter. Smooth feel. If I lived in KS this would be one of my regular beers.

On draft at Taps on Main. Poured an opaque, jet-black color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sticky rings of foam. It smelled of coffee, chocolate, toffee and toasted bread. Bitter coffee with roasted malt and some sweet chocolate flavors.
