Draft at Vine Street. Poured a cloudy, hazy golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It left thick rings of lace. It smelled of grapefruit, guava, orange and caramel sweetness. Nice tropical fruit taste with a toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

 

Pours orange with an opaque translucency. Head is three fingers of fluffy white foam with great retention. Aroma is papaya, grapefruit, and orange zest with late melon dew and red berry. It's potent and full. Flavor profile brings that same fullness, at least initially, stringing together notes of grapefruit, melon dew, red berry, juniper, and orange zest. It's full at the onset, but ramps down pretty quickly towards the finish with some late sticky hops lingering past the initial sweetness. Mouth feel is medium in thickness. Consistent soft texture throughout that diverts more to a mild watery texture as the beer warms. Overall, potent and pretty full for a NE IPA.
