Amber color and clear. Excellent head retention from a slowly poured draft. Decent lacing on the glass with rings and several spots.
Fresh, floral, and lightly weedy hop aroma. The bready malt is enough to balance the smell.
This is a West coast styled IPA and it's well made. The malt is like the smell -- a bit more toasty. The body leans to the rich side but the carbonation is a tad bit higher as well. The hop bitterness is like black pepper, creating a long aftertaste. Clean and refreshing but also a full -flavored IPA.
