Cloudy brown. Foamy, slowly poured head that never dissipates completely. Several rings, streaks and spots continually appear on the glass.
The first impression is of iron smell. Not much malt or hop nose but it's attractive.
Far more hoppy than most (maybe all) Scotch Ales. The body is also thinner with a decent amount of carbonation. The aforementioned iron is also present in the taste but a bit more muted. This beer is quite drinkable but stays from the profile too much for high marks.
