500ml clear glass bottle. Super sweet, somewhat cloying, pale ale. Cascade hops and amber malts are matched to Canadian maple syrup. There’s a hoppy bitter edge to balance the sweet syrup but it still doesn’t work for me. A golden ale is supposed to be refreshing. This is hard work, to be honest.

A 500ml clear glass bottle with a BB of Oct 2013, so it's just out of date. Picked up a while back at a B&M store. Described on the label as a lighter, sister brew to Maple Moon - a golden ale with a hint of maple syrup.
Poured into a straight pint glass. A golden-amber colour with good carbonation and some floating sediment that looks like coagulated protein. Forms a decent head of white foam that lasts for a minute or two before dissipating. Aroma of light caramel malt, mild ale yeast, stewed leaves and just a twinge of maple syrup.
Tastes of caramel malt and a hint of maple syrup, with a mild finish. Notes of caramel/toffee, fruity ale yeast, subtle maple syrup and stewed leaves. Slightly sweet, with a whisper of cardboard in the background and a dry leafiness upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, with effervescent carbonation and decent body. Faintly astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of stewed leaves, mild caramel and a whiff of maple syrup.
So-so, though not as bad as I was expecting. Looks OKish, with a fairly bland aroma and flavour that hint at the presence of maple syrup. Reasonable body for the style. Quite dull but balanced and otherwise drinkable enough. However, there's no need to rush out and hunt it down.

Golden ale with small white head. Quite sweet and a bit too carbonated. Not much flavour really. A touch of malt, but this is pretty bland stuff.

500ml clear bottle: BBD of 28 Oct 2013. Shared with the wife on 13 Jun 2013, poured into two 'Palm' badged bulbous glasses.
As the name suggests, this is clear golden in colour, the white head soon became a collar and wisp.
Also as the name hints, there is a maple syrup feel to the nose and taste. So fairly sweet from the off: mild hop bite or well carbonated, one or the other?
OK, if a little one dimensional. The wife liked it more than me.
