Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a lightly hazy, light to medium golden amber with a slightly fizzy, one finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, dank and mixed fruit hops, mixed ripe tropical fruit, faint citrus, catty dankness; a bit muddled. Flavor is pale malt, dank and fruit hops, fruit punch, lemon, hints of pine and pepper with some herbal dankness. Soft bitterness at first, but builds into a moderate, lingering bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with light to medium creaminess. Not sure what this is, but it doesn't really taste like a classic West Coast IPA; more like the newer hybrid IPAs that have some West Coast elements as well as non-citrus fruit notes. There's a lot going on and it tastes much like its wide range of hops including the well named mixed flavored Mosaic; it’s a melange of flavors with little dominating. There's a light taste of about everything here from citrus, pine, mixed tropical and non-citrus fruit, dankness and peppery spice. Interesting, but perhaps a bit confusing for my taste. I enjoyed it well enough and it had a satisfactory finishing bitterness, but maybe I'm not ready for the changes in this style. Really liked the can graphics.
