Outstanding mouthfeel / drinkability. Maltiness and subtle hop presence meld together with a perfect level of carbonation to produce a very satisfying swill. I’m not typically a fan of black lagers, but this one will be drank again (this was a single can purchase)

Pours over a finger of tan head into my nonic. Retention is average, leaving a solid film. Lacing is good. Body is completely black. Looks nice.
Nose is roast, bitter chocolate, with a dash of malty sweetness. Leans towards the drier side, as it should, but seems very balanced overall. Smells wonderful.
Roast and chocolate come through perfectly on the flavor, with a softer maltiness showing on the back end. Clean and very flavorful, this is fantastic.
Carbonation is relatively high, and there is a bite here when paired with the moderate bitterness. Light bodied, even a little refreshing. A dash of sweet malt, but very well attenuated. A lot going on here, and it works, killer mouthfeel.
Drinkability is phenomenal.
Overall a superb offering.
