Michaux Brewing Company

I was running late trying to get to a Gettysburg brewery, and my GPS was telling me I wasn't going to make it on time. Right at that moment, I rove by this place, completely off of my radar. I did a quick U turn and settled in for dinner and a few brews.Vibe was half hunting lodge, half pub. The place was packed with locals on this Sunday afternoon. Everything was good: beer, food and service. I think someone was watching out for me.....

I visited the Waynesboro location a couple years ago, my wife’s Nephew and his wife live close by and had a party there. An interesting log-cabin lodge style building.

This weekend my Wife and I visited the look Gettysburg tap room about a half hour east.
Both locations are fairly comparable. Nothing fancy, with a solid variety of beer is offered in a relaxed atmosphere.
Food is offered in both locations, although we did not eat in Gettysburg, the couple next to us really enjoyed their sandwiches.

 

 

 

A nicely laid out pub/restaurant vibe with an outdoor seating area in the back. Food was tasty, had the pretzel with beer cheese which was really good. Fries cauliflower appetizer was also quite tasty. Beer selection was good with a nice mix across many styles. I’ve sampled 3 of their beers so far and all were solid. Staff was nice and courteous. A live local gem in south central PA town of Waynesboro.
