A: Pours a dark ruby red color. At first a one finger white head forms, but recedes to nothing in a second. No lace is left behind.
S: Toasted malt, sweet toffee, and light chocolate. A lingering floral and spicy hoppy aroma.
T: Follows the nose. Toasted malt, toffee, chocolate. The sweet toffee flavor becomes a little cloying, but it does not ruin the beer. Some light floral hops that leaves a lingering bitterness.
M/D: A medium body and carbonation. Creamy and smooth. This is a traditional session beer. Something I would have no problem drinking a few, though the sweetness would limit me to only a few.
This is a very enjoyable session beer. If you see it on cask, it is something that I would recommend.
