I tried a half pour of this beer off the tapper at the brewery whilst on a beer trip to Springfield, Illinois with my old Oswego Posse. It poured a clear nearly opaque dark amber with white ring head that did not leave any lace. The scent had bitterinf hop and grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base with malt, grain and typical steam beer presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
