I tried a half pour of this beer off the tapper at the brewery whilst on a beer trip to Springfield, Illinois with my old Oswego Posse. It poured an opaque rich dark amber with no head and no lace. The scent had bold coffee and vanilla notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to sip with semi sweet dark chocolate malt base with coffee and vanilla presence. The mouthfeel was fuller in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.
