Handsome dark ruby-glinting brown ale with plenty of beige foam in the tumbler. It's not so sweet, but so intensely flavored. You can smell the maple and spice even from the empty glass sitting on the table. Overall this a powerful concoction if you really like that sugary, mapley taste. The hops do help with modest bitterness but the candy lingers endlessly in the aftertaste. From the 16 oz can purchased at Cactus Food Mart in Scottsdale. No date.
