Clear amber brew with abundant foam in the narrow Zunft Kölsch glass. Pleasant aroma with hints of grapes and biscuits. Sturdy mouthfeel with more malt than you might expect. The hops are quite nice, a bit of resins and more of the European noble hop tang. There's a slight bitter finish. All clean and refreshing, but I keep thinking of a really good Blonde Ale. Overall this is not reminding too much of a German Kölsch but it's a very tasty and highly drinkable. Even if I think of grape Kool-Aid in the aftertaste. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea Brewing. Not dated.
