HELVETESGJØLET QUADRUPEL is a dark Belgian Ale with hints of dried fruits and marzipan. Stored for more than six months, it offers an intriguing mixture of nuances to tickle your senses.

MALT: Pale ale, Pilsner, Carapils, Wheat, Special X, Munich, Victory and Candy Syrup
HOPS: Magnum
YEAST: Belgian Abbey Ale II

September 2017: Geiranger Helvetesgjølet Quadrupel, 2017 vintage, 330 ml bottle, will soon be available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 10%, 24 IBU. Malts are pale, pilsener, carapils, special X, Munich and Victory, also kandij syrup. Hop is Magnum. Yeast is Belgian Abbey Ale II. Deep reddish brown colour, small beige head. Aroma of malts, caramel and kandij sugar syrup, hints of chocolate and dark dried fruits. The flavour is medium sweet and malty, notes of kandij sugar and caramel, hints of dark dried fruits, chocolate and oak, some alcohol, moderate bittering hops. Warming mouthfeel.
